Our team will be able to conduct Plan Assessments (fees associated with this service) for projects prior to submitting a request to obtain a Building Approval to ensure that your project meets all the relevant regulations and standards, and changes do not need to be made after the formal assessment for a Building Approval have been completed.

  • No, for Development Approval applications please consult your Architect or Draftsperson.

  • Each project will require a different set of documentation. Our team tailor our quotes to ensure our clients are aware of exact forms of documentation in addition to any other professional services that may need to be engaged as a part of the process.

  • We provide customised quotes to ensure that our clients are well informed on what the fees for our service include. For example the number of required inspections, or obtaining additional clearances.

  • Our aim is to issue you with your Building Approval within 6-8 weeks. However our clients should be aware that the total time it takes to issue a Building Approval depends significantly on the complexity of the project, results from the approvals of entity providers (Evo Energy, Icon Water, Jemena Gas) or the ACT Government, and how quickly the compulsory documentation required for the approval can be provided to our team.

  • Once the Building Approval and Building Commencement Notice have been issued.

  • Depending on the type of project you can expect a maximum of 4 compulsory site inspections will be conducted. Examples of inspection stages are Piers, Footings, Slab, Pre-Sheet and Final.

    All inspections must be booked via our online booking form, and we request a minimum 2-3 business days notice for an inspection. Please note that we specify on our quotes the number of inspections included in our service fee. Any additional inspections will be charged at an additional rate.
